Description
NAICS Code: 541511 This is not an RFQ, but a survey to locate potential sources capable of performing the proposed work. It is anticipated that the Contractor will be required to develop energy efficiency design alternatives that can be used in 3-D computer aided drafting (CAD) tools; evaluate various energy efficiency strategies in the computer aided drafting software and have the ability to interface with energy simulation tools; integrate EPA Energy Performance Rating: Target Finder into CAD software; and provide EPA Target Finder-GBS training. Minimum capabilities must include documented evidence of experience and expertise in all of the following areas: (1) Demonstrated experience in creating an interface that will allow the user to input their CAD drawings to link to energy simulation tools; (2) Demonstrated knowledge of energy modeling XML (extensible markup language); (3) Demonstrated experience in providing a secure and reliable web environment; and (4) Demonstrated knowledge of energy analysis for building design. Firms with these capabilities are invited to submit complete information to the procuring office identified in this notice within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this notice. Information furnished shall include: (1) the number and professional qualifications of technical and other appropriate personnel; (2) company experiences related to the proposed project; (3) demonstration of minimum capabilities listed above. Interested parties may submit (1) copy of the required documentation by e-mail to roberson.denise@epa.gov; or (2) copies by U.S. Mail to U.S. EPA, ATTN: Denise Roberson, Mail Code 3803R, 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20460; or (2) copies by commercial delivery to U.S. EPA, ATTN: Denise Roberson, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Reagan Building Room 71271,Washington, DC 20004. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and the Government will not pay or otherwise reimburse respondents for information submitted. Based upon responses received, the Government reserves the right to set aside any and all procurements that may result hereunder for small, minority-owned, or service disabled veteran-owned small businesses. In the capability statements, Contractors shall provide their size status (i.e. large, small, disadvantaged and/or service disabled veteran owned). This requirement is for a base period of one year and two one-year options. If the evaluation of responses received concludes that none of the responding firms have the necessary capabilities, negotiations may be conducted with Geo-Praxis on a noncompetitive basis.
