Description

General Services Administration is seeking all viable and qualified contractor's that can meet or exceed all the evaluation criteria for the planned construction solicitation to Repair/Replace Roofs located in the following counties; Jefferson County, Denver County, El Paso County, Boulder County, Arapahoe County, and Adams County Colorado. From this solicitation a multiple award will be made to a maximum of three (3) contractors for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract. The award will be made on a best-value basis. The performance period for this contract is to include a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. The estimated contract magnitude for this acquisition is between $500,000 and $2,000,000 per awarded contract per year. The minimum amount of work guaranteed for over the life of this contract is $20,000 per year, per contract. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is "238160 -- ROOFING CONTRACTORS". It is GSA's goal to ensure adequate participation by small & small disadvantaged business concerns. Taking that into consideration, this requirement may be advertised to receive proposals from all types of firms under this competitive award with a "cascading" preference General Services Administration will be evaluating proposals against the following evaluation criteria: 1) Contractor must have a minimum of 3 years experience in SAS Built-Up Roofing Systems. 2) Superintendent shall have a minimum of 5 years roofing experience. 3) Contractor shall be capable of responding to emergencies in the Denver Metro Area within 2 hours and within 4 hours for the rest of the State of Colorado. 4) Contractor shall be able to provide a manufacture 20 year warranty. All interested parties shall provide a statement as to why they feel their firm is a viable candidate for the above requirement. Provide with this statement, several past performance references and your firm's socio-economical classification.
