Description
Janitorial & related services are required to be performed at three locations in Tampa, FL. The contractor shall provide the management, supervision, manpower, equipment and supplies necessary to provide these services. The contractor shall be responsible for performing all work under this contract in accordance with all Federal, State, County, and City laws, and codes. In addition to compliance with these laws, the contractor shall follow all applicable standard industry practices including, but not limited to: Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) for all locations unless otherwise specified. The three locations are (1) R.L. Timberlake Jr. Federal Building, (2) Timberlake Federal Annex, and (3) Sam M. Gibbons Courthouse. The anticipated performance period consists of a base year with the possibility of four, one year option renewals. The estimated start date of the base year is September 1, 2005. This procurement is being solicited as a negotiated best value procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561720 with a size standard of $14 million. The solicitation will be available on or about March 16, 2005 in electronic form only. The proposed contract is being solicited as a HUBZone Set Aside for Small Business Concerns and is a Firm Fixed Price. Effective October 1, 2003, all government contractors must be registered in CCR prior to receiving an award. You may access CCR at the following URL www.bpn.gov. Also, beginning, January 1, 2005, as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) all vendors will be required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as part of the proposal submission. You may access ORCA via the following URL, www.orca.bpn.gov. Potential offerors should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involved the use of ORCA. Any questions regarding this notification should be directed to the Contracting Officer whose name appears herein. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring this website for amendments, if any, to the solicitation.
