Description
This is a Sources Sought, please indicate if you are interested and have the ability to propose on the following requirement: Court Reporting Services Department of the Air Force Contracting Flight/LGCB 8110 Industrial Dr, Suite 200 USAF Academy, CO 80840-2315 Court Reporting Services includes: On-site, non-personal services to record and transcribe high speed, verbatim dictation, involving specialized terminology (medical and legal), using a closed microphone or similar mechanical equipment, in support of the base judicial system and other statutory or regulatory proceedings requiring a transcript of proceedings. A base plus 4-option year Requirements Contract is anticipated. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 561492 and the associated small business standard is $6.0 Mill. On rare occasions, there could be several separate court reporting tasks taking place at the same time during this contract. All companies indicating interest in this requirement must be able to cover multiple tasks occurring simultaneously. Estimated workload data for one year is: Task Description Historicalworkload Total Cases/Hours Court Reporting40 hours each 1 1/40 Medical Peer Review Hearings8 hours each 3 3/24 Honor Cases4 hours each 66 66/264 Administrative Discharge Boards8 hours each 3 3/24 Safety Investigation Boards120 hours each 2 2/240 Accident InvestigationBoards200 hours each 2 2/400 Totals 77 77/992 NOTE: Boards average 4 hours each. Not all Honor boards require transcripts. Of the 48 boards held during Fiscal Year 2004 transcripts were required in only 19 cases. This Market Survey is for information and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought. The government requests interested parties to submit a brief, one page, description of their company, to include business size, business status (listed below), and a description of similar services offered to the government and to commercial customers. Acknowledgement of receipt will not be issued. Travel not be paid to contract, employees must be local. Must be registered with Central Contractor Registration CCR.
