Description
The Wiesbaden Contracting Center intends to purchase European specification busses, 28, 32, 44, 55 passenger, which meet the European manufactured vehicles standards applicable DIN, VDE and UVV regulations and/or equivalent EU regulations. All busses will be delivered to a single location in Germany and Italy. Subject purchase will result in a requirements type contract against which delivery orders will be issued. The request for proposals will include that offerors must meet all technical specifications of subject requirement. Evaluation criteria will be addre ssed in the solicitation package. Multiple awards are considered. The request for proposal letter W912CM-05-R-0024 is anticipated to be issued on or about 20 June 05. This request for technical proposals is being conducted as a Two-Step Sealed-Bid under FAR Part 14.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A technical proposal shall be submitted by interested vendors for Government review. The review will determine whether the technical proposal is: acceptable, reasonably susceptible of being made acceptable or unacceptable. Technical acceptability will be based on offers passing all Evaluation Factors. Offerors submitting acceptable proposals will be invited to sub mit prices in Step-Two of the solicitation process. Subject request for technical proposal will be published on this site. Technical specifications will be available for information purposes only on the USACCE Web site at http://www.usacce.army.mil/wcc It is the responsibility of all interested parties to check the FedBizOpps website and the Wiesbaden Contracting Center website frequently to obtain further information and to obtain all solicitation material and any amendments. In accordance with the prov isions of DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (MAR 2000) offerors must be registered in the CCR database. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make offerors ineligible for award. Offerors and contractors may obtain informa tion on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via Internet at http://www.ccr2000.com The solicitation will be an Internet-only solicitation. It is the bidders/offerors responsibility to check the website daily in order to be notified of any changes to this solicitation.
