- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While is it understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has a requirement for technical computer related support services for operation, maintenance, database management, user assistance, and training in support of the Industrial Logistics Support Management System (ILSMIS) located at Dahlgren, VA and CSS Panama City, FL and for database management of Sponsor Owned Material assets on the Regional Residual Asset Management System (R-RAMS) located at Dahlgren, VA. This requirement is follow-on to th! e support currently being provided by CACI Dynamic Systems under N0078-01-C-1002. The contract will be for a base year beginning 01 October 2005 with four one-year options. NSWCDD intends to award the contract on a sole source basis to CACI Dynamic Systems. CACI is the contractor currently providing the service with the corporate resources having the specific knowledge, specialized experience, and expertise to support ILSMIS and maintain Dahlgren?s Sponsor Owned Material Inventory in R-RAMS. CACI resources have direct functional experience with ILSMIS and R-RAMS relevant to NSWCDD?s use of ILSMIS and R-RAMS within its business processes for material and property management, inventory control, financial interface, and procurement. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued by 20 July 2005. Interested parties other than CACI must demonstrate, in writing their capability to provide the required services. NSWCDD, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 has implement! ed Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, the synopses and resulting solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY/busop.htm. Hard copies will not be provided. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD website to ensure they have downloaded ay and all amendments. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All interested parties shall indicate their interest and capabilities in writing by 24 June 2005 by fax to (540) 653-7088 or e-mailed to xds11@nswc.navy.mil, which shall be considered by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-8400. This procurement is DO priority rated.
