Description

The Government requires the following: Firm, Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity supply type contract for Flame Resistant Coveralls. The requirement will be solicited as a commercial competition limited to 100% HUBZONE set-asides, using FAR Part 15. Material shall be sole sourced ? and shall be 1st quality 8.5 oz/yd TuffWeld by Southern Mills, Color ? Heather Brown. Only the material to manufacture the coveralls is being restricted to Southern Mills. The Coverall is required to have a snap front closure with protective fly, shirt style collar, elastic waistband, action back, straight legs to fit over boots, tapered arm sleeves with snap wrist closure, two breast patch pockets with snapped flaps. The coveralls shall be per Government Specifications. FOB Destination to various locations. Contract will be awarded using best value determination. Bid Samples will be required. Manufactured 100% in USA. The requirement will be for a base year with two option year periods beginning on contract award date. When issued, the RFP will be issued on or about 10 June 05, with offers due on or about 24 June 05. All offerors are put on notice that in accordance with FAR 5.203(h), the solicitation will have less than a 30-day response time. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.
