Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture proposes to sole source purchase an SNP Detection, Design, and Analysis System from MiraiBio of Alameda, CA. The system is required to perform single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) design, detection, and analysis including appropriate software for conducting SNP based analysis of qualitative and quantitative genetic data. The system should be bead based and capable of multiplexing reactions in 96 well formats. Additionally, the system should be PC based for analysis and data acquisition. This system shall be installed/set-up delivery FOB to the USDA, ARS, Stoneville, MS. An IFB with complete specification requirements will be issued on or about April 18, 2005. These dates are tentative and will be specified in the IFB package. All requests must be submitted in writing, faxed to (662) 686-5373 or by electronic mail to: tvjones@ars.usda.gov.
