Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement is a request for quote. The reference number is NWWG9500-5-23183 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-04. The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) Stennis Space Center, MS 39529 intends to purchase 30 each Ruggedized 9505 IRIDIUM modems with internal SIM card reader, NAL Model P/N A3LA-D, with Options to purchase an additional 120 modems. Options are as follows: Option 1: 30 units to be exercised within 3 months after approval. Option 2: 30 units to be exercised with 9 months after approval. Option 3: 30 units to be exercised within 15 months after approval. Option 4: 30 units to be exercised within 21 months after approval. Delivery date of the first 30 modems is 30 days at receipt of order. Delivery is FOB ? Destination to: National Data Buoy Center, Attn: Property Officer, Building 3203, Stennis Space Center Mississippi 39529.
