- DESC: THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING ADVERTISED ON AN "UNRESTRICTED" BASIS INVITING FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. The SIC Code for this Solicitation is 237310: The Size Standard is $28,500,000. Highway,Street and Bridge Construction, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina, Naval Hospital, Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, S.C.. The work includes repair and construction of asphalt concrete pavements and Portland cement concrete pavements including base course for roadways, parking lots, airfield pavement, repair and construction of sidewalks and curbs and gutters, raising of manholes, catch basins and valve boxes, repair of cracks in pavements, milling, surface treatments, seal coats, pavement stripping, roadway reflectors, road signs, repair and construction of storm drainage systems, earth work, erosion control, stone rip-rap, grassing, tree relocation, demolition of existing pavements, sidewalks, curb and gutter, new handholes and blank electric conduits and incidental related work. The Government will award an Indefinite Quantity Delivery Order Contract resulting from this solicitation for a Base and four (4) option years to the responsible offeror whose total evaluated LOW PRICE to the Government. The Government intends to issue the entire solicitation on or about 28 June 2005. The entire solicitation, including plans and specifications, is available for viewing and downloading at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS MUST REGISTER IN THE CCR DATA BASE AT www.ccr.gov. LACK OF REGISTRATION IN THE CCR DATA BASE WILL MAKE A BIDDER INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. The official plan holder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the web from the web site. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION.
