- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Diagnostic Radiology Services for the Federal Medical Center (FMC Lexington), 331 Leestown Road, Lexington, Kentucky, 40511. The contract shall consist of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, materials, equipment, and licensed facilities required to provide Diagnostic Radiology services. The contractor shall provide an on-site Radiologist and off-site radiograph reading. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option period is as follows: Radiologist: approximately one (1) two (2) hour session/week, Radiograph reading: approximately 5000 radiographs per contract year. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Due to the volume of information, specific requirements will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 28, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is August 3, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-based and Community-based organizations have the right to submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible.
