Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for fuels management services outside of Susanville, California. The purpose of the STEWARDSHIP PROJECT is to provide services for fuels reduction and forest health improvement. The proposed of this action is an estimated 135 acres of sawlog material removal and POL service activity. This includes furnishing all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. The period of performance will begin on or about July 25, 2005 and continue to approximately May 01, 2007, this is a Multi Year contract. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS 115310. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation. A pre-proposal site tour will be held on June 24, 2005 at 8:00 am at Eagle Lake Field Office, 2950 Riverside Drive, Susanville, CA. Offerors intending to attend the site visit tour shall contact Don Dockery ((530) 257-0456) at least 48 hours before the site visit and advise him of the firms name and number of persons that will attend. Potential offerors may obtain a copy of the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http//ideasec.nbc.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. Contractors must be registered at http//www.ccr.gov to be considered eligible for award. Facsimile proposals will not be accepted.
