Description

THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT. This will be a sole source procurement due to the equipment?s restrictive warranty that prevents anyone other than the original contractor from working on this equipment. The sole source vendor will be Voice Data Communications of Birmingham, AL. They will provide labor, material and equipment necessary to relocate all Police Services electronic equipment and devices from building 18 to the first (1st) floor of building # 4. The contractor must test and make all final connections to ensure the proper operation for all relocated equipment and devices. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The RFQ will be advertised as a sole source requirement with NAICS Codes 238210, 517212, 517510, 541690, 561621 and 811213, and a size standard of $6.0M. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing on company letterhead to include telephone number, fax number and point of contact to the Network Contracting Activity (509/10N7NLO), Augusta VAMC, Attn: Calvin Thomas, Contract Specialist, Bldg 110, Room 2E131, 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904 or faxed to Calvin Thomas @ (478) 274-5815.
