- Solicitation number SP4400-05-R-0017 is a proposed service contract for all non- personal services necessary for the removal, transportation and disposal of hazardous materials and waste at DRMOs Cape Canaveral, Tampa and surrounding areas. This in for a firm-fixed indefinite quantities with full and open competition contract. This will be a single award. The NAICS Code is 562211. The contract period will be for an 18-month base period with two 18-month options. Performance will be requested by issuance of written tasks orders against the basic contract. SP4400-05-R-0017 will he issued on or about July 20, 2005. Approximate closing will be August 20, 2005. Qualifications: Perspective contractors and subcontractors must meet all Federal, state and local laws, ordinaces and regulations governing disposal of hazardous waste materials and environmental protection. Per FAR 52.237-1, SITE VISIT, Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for claim after contract award. Prior to award, awardee must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration per DFAR 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION.
