- Description
- A Solicitation will be issued for Mask and Hood Assembly (MBU 19/P). NSN: 8475-01-333-9269 as a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Type Contract (IDTC) with a Base Year and Two (2) Option Years. Base year and both Option years estimated minimum quantity is 300 each, the maximum quantity is 1,100 each. The solicitation will be issued on an Unrestricted Basis. The destinations for the subject items are Defense Depot, New Cumberland, PA and Defense Depot, Tracy, CA. Production lead time is 180 days after award. Best Value / Source Selection procedures will be utilized in making an award. Evaluation factors are as follows in descending order of Importance: 1) Past Performance; 2) Socioeconomic Program Support; 3) DLA Mentoring Business Agreement; and 4) Javits-Wagner-O?Day Act. A First Article inspection is required and shall consist of a Visual and Dimensional Examination along with a Chemical Permeation testing. Source Sampling is required for Bromobutyl Coated Fabric per Air Force Drawing 9842400, Rev B. Government reserves the right to award on a basis other than price alone. There are three approved sources for this item Allied Material & Equipment Co. Inc., Gentex Corporation, and ILC Industries, Inc.
