- Pre-Solicitation Conference Notice The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), invites potential offerors to a Pre-Solicitation Conference at the Miami Animal Import/Export Center located at 6300 NW 36th Street, Miami, FL 33122. The conference will be held in the Main Administrative Conference Room on June 24, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. A multi-year contract is anticipated for the animal hay and feed requirement for the Miami Animal Import/Export Center. The pre-solicitation conference is being held to discuss this anticipated contract requirement and contract considerations. The effective date of the contract will be on or about October 1, 2005. The annual requirements for feed and hay at the Animal Import/Export Center may vary; however, we estimate the following annual quantities: Timothy Hay -150,000 ? 400,000 lbs., Sweet Feed 100 - 15,000 ? 40,000 lbs., Alfalfa Hay - 1,000 ? 4,000 lbs., and Whole Oats - 15,000 ? 50,000 lbs. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 424910, with a size standard of 100 employees. The acquisition will be a 100% small business set aside.
