- The purpose of this contract is to put five roads into storage. Work includes removing culverts, restoring channel drainage, disposing of culverts, establishing waterbars, scarifying the roadbed and grass seeding and fertilizing the roadbed. The project area is located on Zarembo Island, Southeast Alaska approximately 10 miles west of Wrangell Island. The project sites can be accessed from the exiting road system on Zarembo Island. The performance period is 60 days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about July 1, 2005 for viewing and printing. Potential quoters are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation AG-0116-S-05-0008. Telephone requests <u> will not </u> be honored. Offers will be due approximately 21 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. To register, select Register to Receive Notification and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website. To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow the steps. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting View List of Interested Vendors for each project. In order to receive any contract award, Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
