- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with World Wildlife Fund Indonesia (WWFI) for NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service for monitoring and protection of leatherbacks in North Papua. WWFI has been active in leatherback research and conservation at Jamursba Medi, North Papua and have established a collaboration with local stakeholders (government and local communities) that make's them uniquely qualified. WWFI has committed matching funds to enable this project to proced. The period of performance will be July 2005 through July 2006. This notice may represent to only official notice. This is a simplified acquisition. ****The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov.
