Description

The Minneapolis VA Medical Center (MVAMC), One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN has a need to lease new PVP Laser Technology in order to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The procedure is called Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate or PVP and uses a KTP laser. The contractor will provide lease of a PVP Laser System equipment, professional services of a certified technician and all supplies for use with the system. A MVAMC physician will perform the actual surgical procedure. All treatment will be provided at the MVAMC. The contractor will operate the unit inside MVAMC?s Operating Room as directed by MVAMC. Services will be scheduled through the Urology Service, and we expect the need to be for one or more patients every week. On rare occasions, MVAMC may add services on short notice on an urgent basis. Normal Work Hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. ? 4:30 p.m., excluding Federal holidays. The MVAMC estimates 10 to 50 cases annually. Contract will be for a base year with two options to renew. The contractor will deliver and remove equipment on a scheduled or emergent basis. Costs will be an all inclusive per case cost. This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses.
