- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR FAC 2005-03. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is an unrestricted open market solicitation. This is a firm-fixed price procurement and will be procured using commercial procedures. Solicitation Number is FA4809-05-Q-0278. The NAICS code 711110 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is $6,000,000. Statement of Work: The purpose of this contract is to conduct a performing arts camp production of THE JUNGLE BOOK (JUN-3) at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC from 25 July 2005 to 30 July 2005. The contractor will provide two staff members to develop and produce a full-scale musical with 50-60 school age children, ranging in age from those entering first grade to twelfth grade. The camp will include an audition, intensive rehearsals, three workshops and two finished performances for the public. The camp will be held during a six-day period, Monday through Saturday. Rehearsals will take place Monday through Friday for 4 ? hours each day, including a 15-30 minute break. The contractor will provide, and each production will include, professionally designed scenery, costumes, props and makeup, sound and lighting equipment. In addition to preparing for the production, the camp will include three theatrical enrichment workshops for youth and/or adults that will take place outside of the rehearsal schedule. All costs must be included in the bid with exception of travel expenses and lodging for the staff members for a total of seven nights, Sunday to Sunday. Travel expenses, and lodging will be arranged by and paid for by the contractor. Government furnished equipment shall include a piano, accompanist, two rehearsal spaces and performance space for the two show performances. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; The RFQ should be submitted and shall contain the following information: 1) RFQ number, 2) time specified for receipt of offers, 3) name, address, and telephone number of offeror, 4) price and any discount terms, 5) a completed copy of the representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3 Alt 1 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (see FAR 52.212-3(j) for those representations and certifications that the offeror shall complete electronically); Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration, 6)Period for acceptance of offers - The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation, 7) Late offers - Any offer, modification, revision, or withdrawal of an offer received at the Government office designated in the solicitation after the exact time specified for receipt of offers is ?late? and will not be considered.
