Description

The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements contract for a contractor operation of an on-base parts store (COPARS) in support of the 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron. On-base workload would include providing motor vehicle and miscellaneous equipment parts and tires to maintain a Government fleet of approximately 1500 vehicles that range in diversity from sedans to heavy construction vehicles. The basic performance period is expected to be 1 Oct 05 or the date of award, whichever is later, through 30 Sept 06, plus four one year options periods. This acquisition is being offered for unrestricted competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336399. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. This will be a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued but the solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity site (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) without further notice on or about 30 June 05. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. A site visit is anticipated on or about 12 July 2005. Details for attendance will be provided in the solicitation. The estimated proposal due date is 8 August 2005. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS Number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
