- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Exposure Media LLC 140 Greenwood Avenue Midland Park, NY 07432-1417 to provide 1 each Opticality 3D Display System. This 3D Display System consists of a 50-inch plasma display, a 20-inch liquid crystal display, a personal computer workstation with high-end graphics capability and software for converting and working with three dimensional (3D) images. This hardware/software combination allows observers to see animations of auto stereoscopic, holographic-like, 3D images that appear to float deep inside and project up to several feet in front of the flat-panel screens. This product is the only one available on the commercial market that has three-dimensional imaging capability, high-definition resolution, large screen size, greater than a 100 degree viewing angle, usable in normal light and no goggles or glasses are necessary for viewing. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 334119. This procurement shall be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
