- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a solicitation for engineering services as defined below. Interested sources will be required to submit a statement of work which complies with requirements of the statement of objectives attached hereto. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal is both technically acceptable and lowest price. This acquisition will be a small business set-aside. The following are approved sources: Weinschel, RLC Electronics and Aerospace E-Spectrum. A contract will be issued for engineering services in support of three Programmable RF Attenuators contained in the MRATA. Attenuators are the 140 Series manufactured by Weinshel and are no longer manufactured or supported by the OEM. The contractor shall design replacement attenuators based on modern commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) technology where advantageous, improve reliability and maintainability if possible and ensure supportability through the Calendar Year 2030.
