Description

The 45th Contracting Squadron, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL announces the solicitation of the Basewide Paving requirement at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL. This is a competitive unrestricted acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 with a size standard of $28.5M. The Government plans to award a Firm-Fixed price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity IDIQ contract type contract using Performance-Price Tradeoff techniques. The contract minimum is $24,000.00 with a maximum of $7,000,000.00. The minimum guaranteed amount for the basic contract period of performance is $24,000.00. No minimum guaranteed amount will be given for the option periods. . The performance period will be for a basic twelve-month period with four twelve-month option years. The exercise of option years remains the Government?s unilateral right. The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision necessary to provide the work required. Contractor will perform removal and replacement of concrete, overlay, repair and striping of existing pavement; construction of new pavement, base sub-base, and striping; and rework of associated drainage systems, sodding, seeding, minor landscaping, and utilities associated with roadways, taxiways, aircraft aprons, runways, and parking areas at Cape Canaveral AFS, FL and with potential work at Patrick AFB, FL in accordance with the statement of work and drawings. This requirement is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. NOTE: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNDER A CONTRACT. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, WHETHER BEFORE OR AFTER RFP CLOSING, WITH NO OBLIGATIONS TO THE OFFEROR BY THE GOVERNMENT. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is 6 Jul 2005. Estimated date for receipt of proposals is 8 Aug 2005, and anticipated award date of 12 Sep 2005 or sooner. The complete solicitation will only be available at http://www.eps.gov. No hard copies will be provided. It is the contractor?s responsibility to monitor the website for any changes or updates. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (See Internet site: http://www.ccr.gov) and submitted a VETS 100 report (See Internet site http://vets100.cudenver.edu) to be eligible for award. Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database (see FAR 4.1102). The magnitude of this project is expected to be between $5 Million and $10 Million.
