- The Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Detachment 12, DoD Space Test Program (STP) Office, Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM, issued Request for Proposal FA8818-05-R-0012, [STP-SIV (ESPA Class)] on 15 June 2005. STP-SIV (ESPA Class) is intended to provide STP with agile, small satellite ("ESPA-class"), spaceflight capability for DoD space technology demonstrations of R&D experiments. For this proposed acquisition, and using the small business size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336414, the size standard of 1,000 employees apply. The STP-SIV (ESPA Class) RFP is available on the PK page of the Det 12 website, www.smc.kirtland.af.mil.
