Description

Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to install new fire suppression system throughout Hangar 90828, extending existing fire system supply from adjacent Building 90816, constructing a room to house the fire riser and fire suppression system equipment and provide infrared heat to hangar. Transite panels on mezzanine in lean-to area are to be removed and replaced with insulation and metal panels. The work is to be divided into three phases; Phase 1 will include installation of 10? fire waterline, improvements to Southwest side of hangar and construction of fire suppression system equipment room; Phase 2 will include improvements to Southeast side of hangar; and Phase 3 will include improvements to lean-to area. This acquisition will be issued under full and open competition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This is a ?special straddle bid,? which may only be awarded if current-year funding becomes available before 30 Sep 2005. If funding is not available the solicitation will be cancelled. The solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.eps.gov.
