Description

This is a solicitation for a Sources Sought. The USAF Academy intends to purchase a name brand or equal, Tel-Atomic, Inc, model TEL 2525SYS, Thomson e/m (Teltron Tube) Electron Beam Deflection Apparatus. This apparatus is used to show students the trajectory of electrons while allowing measurements to be taken. The system should consist of the following: HTE Evacuated tube; Two capacitor plates; Internal phosphor-covered mica screen for measuring deflection; Two Helmholtz coils; Universal stand; 5kv Power supply capable of (Output current ? 1mA at 5000Vdc, Line regulation - >1% for 10% line voltage change, Lead regulation ? 3 for 0 to 500 mA, Ripple ? 0.2% at max. current); 30V Power sully capable of (Output current ? 0-3A; Ripple ? less than 1.5m Vp-p, Output stability ? less than 5mV for voltage change of +10%, less than 5mV for load variation of 0 ? 100%).
