Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Fort Bliss Directorate of Contracting is soliciting for the permetherin insect repellant treatment of 16,000 battle dress uniform sets. The Government will provide the uniforms. Th e contractor must make arrangements to pick up and delivery uniforms to and from Governments facility. Treated uniforms are need NLT 30 daysor sooner from date of award. If selected, the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registratio n (CCR at http://www.ccr.gov) in order to receive the award at the time of selection. The following provisions and clauses apply: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror's Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition ; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition and offers will be evaluated on price, delivery and quality; a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 must accompany your offer; FAR 52.212-4; FAR 52.212-5 which fur ther incorporates FAR 52.203-6, 52.219-14, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33; 52.216-24; 52.216-25; 52.219-6 and 52.233-3.
