Description
The U. S. Army Communications Electronics-Life Cycle Management Command is conducting a market investigation to identify contractors with the interest/ability to develop a preliminary design for a Modification Work Order to support a more compact foo tprint for the All Source Analysis System (ASAS) Block II Analysis and Control Element (ACE) shelters. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Block II ACE is a tactically deployable primary Intelligence and Electronic Warfare IIEW) Fusion System operating in the full spectrum of high volume perishable combat information from both traditional and non-traditional threat environments. It is the only US Arm y system that processes Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) to produce a consolidated, fused All Source picture of the battlespace from multiple Single Source producers and disseminates to all echelons, EAC to BN. The ASAS ACE currently consists of Support Vehicle, three S-788 shelters, each mounted on a M-1113 HMMWV (two Fusion Cells and a Support Shelter) with a 15 KW Generator and three Cargo Trailers in tow. Two Communication Control Sets (CCS) support the ASAS ACE. The resulting contract will be Cost-Plus Fixed Fee. Any responses made to the offering must be made at no cost to the Government. All responses must be received NLT 1 July 05.
