Description

The U.S Army C-E LCMC Acquisition Center intends to award a five-year, Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for up to 1,020 John Deere Model TO4039TF002 4-cylinder 30 kilowatt (30kW)(92 Horsepower (HP) turbo diese l engines, National Stock Number (NSN) 2815-01-350-2208, and up to 880 John Deere Model T06059TF002 6-cylinder 60 kilowatt (60kW)(134 HP) turbo diesel engines NSN 2815-01-350-2209 to CK Power Products (CK Power), 1100 Research Blvd, St. Louis, MS 63132. T he contract will be negotiated in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The Government only owns the top-level drawings for these items, and these drawings do not contain design details that would enable any ot her source to manufacture engines that meet the Governments requirements. CK Power is the only authorized distributor of the 30/60 kW remanufactured engines under an exclusive agreement between John Deere and CK Power. However, all responsible sources i nterested in participating in this procurement may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The government will not be providing any type of Government Furnished Property (GFP), including the engine core, for this purchase.
