Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a requirement to construct a guard house and related work for the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, WV. The work includes but is not limited to building removal and relocation, site demolition, utilities, guard house construction, paving and incidental related work. The performance period is 160 calendar days. Estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 236220 and the size standard is $28.5 million. This is an unrestricted procurement and all responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered. Solicitation packages will be mailed to requestors on or about July 1, 2005. No electronic version is available. Plans and specifications for this job are available without charge and shall be requested in writing to the above address: Attention: Carol Bloem, Contracting Officer. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. However, FAX requests will be accepted at fax number (413) 253-8450. Any requests for a solicitation package MUST include the company name, address, telephone, and fax number, point of contact, and should reference the solicitation number and title above. Requesters must identify if their business size is large or small. It is anticipated that the bid opening will be conducted on or about August 2, 2005. Prospective Bidder's must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for award.
