Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commerical item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the number is Q748205A402. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03. The National Park Service has a requirement for a DPS VelocityHD (or equal) editing system, which provides video programming and web streaming for the internet, installed in place, tested, on site training and local technical support(on site and via telephone) after installation. This system will deliver high definition video and graphic information for video production, CD-ROM content creation and DVD authoring. System Requirements (OR EQUAL TO) - VelocityHD #D Deluxe (with A3DX, 3D DVE, SCSI-7000, onboard storage controller, BOB-7000, rack-mountable breakout box) - HP xw8200 Workstation - One PCI Express (x16) graphics slot - One PCI Express (x8 mechanical x4 electrical) slot - One 133MHz PCI--X and two 100MHz PCI-X slots - Two PCI slots - 800MHz FSB - Onboard Gigabit Ethernet - Onboard Dual-Channel SATA and Dual-Channel Ultra 320 SCSI - Onboard USB 2.0, IEEE-1394 - 600W Power Supply - Dual Intel Xeon 3.2GHz Processors - 2GB DDR2-400 ECC RAM - 80GB SATA 7200RPM internal system hard drive - 250GB SATA 7200RPM internal system hard drive - Dual vGA display card with 128MB video RAM - Dual-layer DVD+/-RW drive - DVD-ROM drive - Floppy Disk Drive - Microsoft Windows XP Professional OS - Velocity Color-Coded Custom Keyboard - Mouse External Drive Array for uncompresed HD video playback with minimum of 2500GB capacity Professional 56" Vertical Equipment Rack with up to 8 equipment bay areas. Built for mixed use installation of VelocityHD computer, disk array, breakout box, HD deck, betacamSP deck, and other equipment components Installation and Training - System installation, integration, and testing w/ current SRC's Video equipment - On-site training at SRC's Santa Fe location The determination of the compatibility of the product shall be the responsibility of the Government and will be based on information furnished by the vendor. The contracting activity is not responsible for locating or securing any information which is not identified in the quotation and reasonably available to the contracting activity. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition: FAR CLAUSE 52.212-1, INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS - COMMERICAL ITEMS FAR CLAUSE 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS - COMMERICAL ITEMS FAR CLAUSE 52.213-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS - COMMERICAL ITEMS FAR CLAUSE 52.212-5 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OF EXECUTIVE ORDERS - Each offeror must include a completed copy of the FAR CLAUSE 52.212-3, with their proposal. OFFERORS MAY REQUEST A COPY OF FAR CLAUSE 52.212-3 BY FAXING A REQUEST TO TAMMY GALLEGOS AT 505-988-6075. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. One contract award will be made on a firm fixed price basis to the contractor with the lowest price. A technically acceptable proposal must clearly show that the offeror can meet the minimum requirement of the Government. This acquisition is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 512110. The small business size standard is $5,000,000. .
