Description: Work consists of the general construction of a new microfiltration water treatment unit in an existing building to replace an existing conventional filtration unit at Mesa Verde National Park, CO. The work involves demolition and disposal of the existing plant tank, controls, and piping, as well as removal of some pumps and air compressor equipment. The new microfiltration treatment equipment will be a prepackaged unit capable of treating 350 gpm (o.5 MGD) and consist of a filter, PLC and PC computer controls, connection piping, new air scouring unit, and interconnection to existing tank level controls. Cost range is $250,000 to $500,000.
