- DESC: THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING ADVERTISED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS INVITING FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Public Law 101.656, provides for Business Opportunities Development Reform Act of 1988. The NAICS Code for this solicitaiton is 237310; the size standard is $28.5M. Repair Roadways and Construct Bicycle/Jogging Safety Lanes, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. The work consists of repairing existing roadways, constructing new bicycle lanes, installing new storm drainage system, and all associated appurtenances. The project includes, but is not limited to, the milling, chip sealing and overlay of asphalt pavements, full depth pavement repairs, installation of new asphalt bike lanes, and the associated grading, grassing, striping, signage and erosion control measures. Also included is the installation of a new storm drainage collection system and modifications to an existing bridge to provide adequate safety rails and approaches and other incidental work. Award will be made to LOW PRICE to the Government. The Government intends to issue the entire solicitation on/or about 01 July 2005. The entire solicitation including plans and specifications is availabe for viewing and downloading at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil on/or about 01 July 2005. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS MUST REGISTER IN THE CCR DATABASE AT www.ccr.gov. LACK OF REGISTRATION IN THE CCR DATABASE WILL MAKE A BIDDER INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. The official planholder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the web from the website. Amendments will be posted on the website for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBSITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION.
