Description
This contract is intended to provide support to Code 59 customers in the Fayetteville, NC area such as the 82nd Airborne Corps, 35th Signal Brigade, Special Forces, United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), 4th Psychological Operations Battalion (4th POB) and the 112th Signal Battalion. The contractor shall provide qualified personnel to perform integration and technical support services for the following functional areas: Systems Integration Services, Operational Support, Research and Development, and Operational Systems Support. The systems integration support and technical analysis is in support of the design and integration of equipment and systems SCAMPI Deployable Node (SDN), Technical Control Packages, and SCAMPI. The contractor shall provide government site support to: USASOC, United States Forces, Korea (USFK), 12th Signal Battalion, 4th POB, Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and other units. The contractor shall provide research and development support services to include advanced technology, system and subsystem development. This requirement will focus on the Transformational Communications Architecture and assist in preparations and participation in Joint and service sponsored architecture teams and studies. The contractor shall be required to know the design and integration of the DVB-RCS systems for the 4th POG. These are unique systems that have been designed to meet the requirements for the 4th POG deployed units. The contractor personnel is required to be intimately familiar with these systems and other communications requirements needed for proper performance. Contractor must be familiar with the design of Mobile Communications Center for the 82nd Airborne Division. This design provides improved communications capability for the 82nd Airborne and is intended to provide a command and control capability during initial troop insertions. Personnel are required to be familiar with the design of the new center and with the communications requirements for the 82nd Airborne. Responses must include the following: 1) name and address of firm; (2) size of business: average annual revenue for past three years and number of employees; (3) ownership: Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), and/or Woman-Owned; (4) number of years in business; (5) technical capability; (6) affiliate information: parent corporation, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime); (7) a list of customers covering the past 5 years; highlight relevant work including a summary of work performed, contract number, contract type, dollar value for each customer reference, and customer point of contact with phone number. The Government is setting this procurement aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business program. A one-year Firm Fixed type contract is anticipated.
