- Description
- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award a sole source procurement to Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) under authority of FAR 6.302 to provide membership services for its school districts. MCEC is an educational, nonprofit organization dedicated to forming partnerships and providing networking of military installations and their supporting school districts to address transition and other educational issues related to the military child. This is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting DoDEA's requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. All submissions must be received by the response date and time of this notice. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Response Date: 1:00 p.m. EST, 05 Jul 05.
