- Description
- The Government intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) under full and open competition procedures in December 2005 for the System Development and Demonstration (SDD) Phase (B) of the replacement terrain following/terrain avoidance (TF/TA) Radar. This phase follows the Technology Maturity Demonstration Phase (A) contract awards to Raytheon and Northrup Grumman Corporation on 31 Mar 05. The TF/TA radar is intended for use in the MH-47, MH-60, MC-130, and CV-22. Any agreements entered into with those platform manufacturers (e.g. for integration/installation issues) preparatory to bidding on the SDD Phase (B) of the TF/TA program shall be at the discretion of each Potential Offeror (and its team members, if applicable) and any costs associated with such agreements shall be the Potential Offeror?s responsibility and not be reimbursable by the government. The security level of the TF/TA program is at the Secret/NOFORN level of classification. Potential offerors are required to possess U.S. personnel clearances, cleared facilities, storage and processing capabilities. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this effort is 334511 with size standard of 750 employees.
