Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking offers for the construction of a new Mental Health Clinic and renovation of existing space at the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, Arizona. This solicitation includes all Design-Build services including labor, tools and equipment necessary for the design and construction of a new mental health clinic of approximately 44,000 SF and renovation of approximately 6000 SF of existing space. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement with a Cost range for this procurement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220. Solicitation documents will be available on or about July 5, 2005. Proposals are due by 3:30 PM EDT on August 9, 2005. Broadway Blvd, Tucson, Arizona, 85716; Telephone (520) 881-4546; Fax (520) 795-1822 to the attention of David Grigsby. Documents are available at a cost of $175 per set, refundable upon return of the documents to GLHN at the above referenced address. A Subcontracting Plan will be required from all Large Business: The Subcontracting Goals are as follows: 40% SB; 10% SDB; 3% SDVOSB; 6%WOSB; 3% HUBZone and 7% VOSB. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. A Pre-Proposal Conference and Small Business Workshop is scheduled for July 21, 2005 at 10:00 AM local time in Building 4, Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System, Tucson, AZ.
