- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued W91QFT05-05-T-0023 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and cla uses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 423390. Please quote for the following items: 70 ea 36 x8 wall panel, 42 each 2 Panel Connectors, 28 2-1/2 Corner Connectors, 420 f t Rigid V Channel, Labor (to cut 1 door and 3 windows. Front 1 door (36 x72 ) and 1 window (30 x36 ), Left side 1 window (30 x36 ), Right side, 1 window (30 x36 ), 231 feet U Channel for door and windows cutout. The following is the Specification that is needed. Delivery must be NLT 18 July 2005 due to training exercise. Award shall be made to the best value to the Government. a) The base DuraPanel or equal is 36 wide by 1 ? thick in any length required. The panel connector pieces add slightly to the overall length. A 9 x 6 x 8 building would require 10 panels, 6 panel connectors, and 4 corners. b) Doorframe and window cutouts to be done by contractor according to above specs. c) The panels are to be solid as standard. d) The DuraPanel Modular Plastic Wall System to be completely modular that can be assembled without tools. Using different connectors multiple buildings can be attached in virtually limitless array of layouts. e) Via the use of a Rigid U channel all cut or exposed edges can to shielded from contact with personnel. f) The 9 x 6 building as specified should be able to be assembled completely in 10-15 minutes after minor training. The panels and connectors to be all extruded PVC and will withstand numerous assembly/disassembly cycles. With minimal care the DuraPanel Wall system should provide years of maintenance free service. g) The system allows for the roof system additions using a lightweight plastic panel system, which would be similar to the remainder of the building. h) The building must have stability. i) It is to be lightweight, weatherproof, and durable. We are requesting DuraPanel mainly because of (i) above. Please submit your bid along with specifications and drawings NLT Friday 24 June 2005 by Close of Business. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this requisition. Offerors are requested to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The clause at 52 .212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; addenda to the clause are not included.
