Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the construction of two (2) pre-engineered buildings at Dahomey National Wildlife Refuge and Tallahatchie National Wildlife Refuge, MS. Work includes but is not limited to; supplying all materials, tools, supplies, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to construct two (2) pre-engineered metal equipment storage buildings 40'X60'X14' eave and 60'X80'X14' eave including foundation all in accordance with the plans and specifications. The NAICS code is 236210. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 7/6/05, with a 30 day closing. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 182 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is on or about 08/18/05. The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB number 401815B019. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note; All prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for award.
