- On behalf of the United States Marine Corps, Marine Corps Systems Command, Infantry Weapons Systems, PM-Optics and Non-Lethal, this is an UPDATE of the USMC notification of intent to solicit for the Thermal Binocular/Biocular System. This announcement is not a solicitation and no solicitation for the TBS exists at this time. Proposals are not being requested at this time. The Government intends to award at least one FFP, IDIQ contract to the offeror(s) that represent the "Best Value" to the Government. The Government intends to procure at least 3856 Tactical Range Thermal Imagers (TRTI). The Government anticipates issuing a combined synopsis / solicitation prior to 30 June 05. The Q&A Summary and the PPT brief from the second of the two presolicitation conferences and all future information regarding this procurement will be posted to NECO and FedBizOpps.
