Description

This is a reposting of solicitation number HE1254-05-R-0037 previously posted on June 11, 2005 as a combined synopsis/solicitation. This reposting corrects the inadvertent omission of the solicitation document which may now be downloaded from this synopsis site. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award on a competitive basis, a contract for professional writing services for the development of two online courses for special education paraprofessionals and special education teachers and accompanying study guides. This requirement is part of DoDEA's Special Education Initiative (SEI). The Solicitation Number is HE1254-05-R-0037 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This action incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03 and DCN 20050509. Offerors shall submit their offers in accordance with the submission instructions contained in the solicitation by 2:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time), Tuesday, July 18, 2005. DoDEA is a Federal Government agency, an education activity, and tax exempt. DoDEA supports military dependent schools both stateside and overseas. FSC Code: U009, Educational Services. NAICS Code: 611699, All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction. Size Standard: $6,000,000.00. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. Interested businesses may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal. Only proposals received within the response timeframe will be considered by the government.
