Description
The following description to synopsis dated 04 APR 2005 is modified as follows: There will be a base term and 4 one year term options, each with a minimum of 35,000 prs and a maximum of 100,000 prs. Previous description follows: Firm Fixed Priced Contract with Base Term, plus one (1) One Year Term Options, Running Shoes, Women?s Style No.W 498WN, Men?s Style No. M498WN or equal, NSN 8435-01-451-1757 (S), 8430-01-445-8402- Base Term plus One Option Year with 25,000 EA Minimum/ 65,000 EA Maximum. Delivery locations CONUS. Solicitation will be issued using negotiated method of procurement. Trade-off procedures apply: Product Demonstration Model, Experience/Past Performance. Successful offeror(s) will be awarded the entire contract; therefore offeror must bid on base year, and one option year. Multiple awards may be made. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home AFTER 21 January 2005. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles (C&T) as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. Gateway technical assistance is available at admin_support@pgmail.daps.mil. NOTE: To be eligible for award, potential contractor must be registered with DoD Central Contractor Registration. You may register via the internet at www.ccr.gov. DSCP has developed a web-based system that allows manufacturers the ability to request specifications, patterns and drawings on our contracting page http://ct.dscp.dla.mil/Contracting/. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
