Description

The Morale Welfare Recreation Fund (IWMRF), a Non-Appropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI), under DLA Enterprise Services at the Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia is seeking a concession contractor to provide food and catering services in Building 42, the Bellwood Club. The building contains 12,646 square feet of kitchen, serving, seating, and bar area. The contractor shall serve lunch and may at its discretion provide additional services such as brunch or catering. The contractor shall serve a selection of both hot and cold dishes, health food choices, including those that fit low-fat, carbohydrate and/or low calorie diets, food choices that accommodate different religious practices and carry-out services. The contractor shall provide the following services necessary for contract operations: general security for the facilities, maintenance to the existing facilities, all utilities, except gas for cooking equipment, which the contractor shall pay directly to the Government?s gas service provider, and access to DSCR Today and Tomorrow/Elk Net to advertise and publish weekly menus and specials. The contractor at its discretion, shall set prices for individual menu items, combinations of items or specials, provided that menu items or combinations may not increase by more than 10% in any given calendar year. The contractor will be obligated to pay fees regardless of profitability, temporary closure or shutdown of areas, closure of Center due to adverse weather conditions, terrorism or act of God, closure due to contractor failure to pass inspections, or contractor default of contract.
