Description: This project consists of a minor amount of subgrade preparation in the form of blading, compacting, and constructing drain dips, then placement of a 3 inch to 4 inch lift of (commercially supplied) crushed aggregate on the last 1.65 miles of Forest Development road 517. This work will also include removal of open-top culverts, water and compaction of the road surface. The road project is located 16 miles directly out of Riggins, Idaho on an aggregate road, and the project may include project-induced spot maintenance (blading, water & dust abatement), as needed along the entire length of the road.
