Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice (not a presolicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to identify sources that can provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide and perform refuse, recycling, and compost collection and disposal services for Eglin AFB, Duke Field, Camp Rudder, Military Family Housing, and Mobile Home Park, and Eglin reservation, ranges, and sites. It is anticipated that Main Base Housing (residential areas) will be privatized within the next one to four years. The Mobile Home Park will be closed on or about 2008. A firm-fixed, indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract is contemplated with an ordering period of 1 Oct 05-30 Sept 06 with 4 option years. This sources sought is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR Part 10. This notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate. Interested sources should submit responses by email to elisa.horrach@eglin.af.mil. Responses should contain Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Cage Code, Phone Number, Fax Number, Size of Business pursuant to NAICS code 562111. In addition to the size of business, indicate all classes of business that fit your firm: i.e. Small Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, etc. Responses must be received no later than 27 June 2005 1400 CST. All prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of all other information pertaining to the synopsis and solicitation.
