Description

This posting consitutes the U.S. Military Academy's notice of intent to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to the Hotel Thayer, West Point, NY to provide the Academy with lodging intermittently from 4-31 July. The number of rooms will va ry from 6 to 12 to 10. The Hotel Thayer is the sole hotel located on the grounds of the U.S. Military Academy. The sole source justification for the sole use of the Hotel Thayer to fulfill this requirement is twofold, transportation and security. Contin uous bus transportation for personnel, including guests of the Hotel Thayer, is provided on the grounds of West Point at no charge. Secondly, because the Hotel Thayer is located on a secure military reservation, with every vehicle subject to search and se curity checkpoints located at all entrances, security concerns are minimized. Award amount is $29,120.00. The applicable NAICS is 721110 and size standard of $6 million. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers. I nterested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the designated representative. Response to this notice must be received within three calendar days of the date of this notice via email. See numbered n ote 22. Insert 3 days instead of 45 days in Note 22. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, upon receipt of response to this notice, is solely at the discretion of the Government in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). No solicit ation will be available.
