- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command in support of Naval Sea Systems Command, Program Executive Office Littoral & Mine Warfare (PEO LMW), Maritime Surveillance Systems (MSS) Program Office PMS 485, intends to award a sole source extension modification to the cost plus award fee contract, N00039-00-C-2206, with Lockheed Martin Corporation of Manassas, VA for technician crewmen to operate and maintain the Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System (SURTASS) aboard T-AGOS and other class ships, Field Support Team (FST) members to provide Integrated Undersea Surveillance (IUSS) engineering and logistics support and Shore Maintenance Team (SMT) members to maintain a shore IUSS site. This contract extension will be a bridge effort while a competitive acquisition is conducted. The approximate value of this contract extension is $2.9M, and the approximate period of performance is five months beginning 01 October 2005. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1, the Government shall satisfy this requirement via a sole source contract. Numbered Note 22 applies to this contract extension.
