Description
AMENDMENT 0001 H92239-05-T-0035 61? and 84? PLASMAS & ACCESSORIES Question 1. I have a question concerning the 84? plasma specifications on the RFQ H92239-05-T-0035. The specification reads for an NEC 84VP5A plasma with except for two items. The first item is the seamless virtue. These screens are really four individual plasmas that act as one, but have 1.5 edged frames. The other question is that while these monitors come a static mount a tilt mount would be applicable to each individual screen. We have an 84 plasma screen available that meets the seamless aspect better and has a mount but doesn?t? have all the specified inputs like the NEC specification. To the best of my knowledge these are the two items currently available. All others are prototypes. Is there a priority? Answer 1. In reference to the seamless virtue it is like the ORION PK-8401 has with a 3MM seam. We are looking for a Display that has the ability to project four screens in the 84? area and has the smallest seam. The ORION had the 3mm seam and was virtually unseen. It allowed us to split the screen into four display areas. We could display from 4 different feeds to these display areas. Thus by having three screens mounted we could monitor 12 displays. The tilt mount we were trying to get allowed the entire 84? screen to be tilted, if each screen like in the NEC example was tilted separately the gap would increase beyond the 1.5 gap. Is that 1.5 inches or mm, big difference in the seam if it is inches. Question 2. We are interested in bidding on the plasma screen solicitation, what kind of drawings are you requesting along with our bid? Answer 2. Drawings of the plasma screens you are providing.
