- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA), Atlanta Region, plans to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) solicitation to acquire a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program for employees of SSA, Atlanta Region. Employees are located in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Contractor must be able to provide services region-wide, with certified counselors with a 100 mile radius of each of our field offices and a EAP counselor for the metro-Atlanta area and Birmingham, AL, SEPSC/TSC. This requirement is a 100 percent small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 624190. The Size Standard is $6.0 million. Proposals received from other than small business concerns will not be accepted. The period of performance will be August 01, 2005 through July 31, 2006, with provisions for four 1-year renewable option periods. Solicitation SSA-RFP-05-1032 is scheduled for release on or about April 04, 2005 with a closing date of April 25, 2005. No telephone, fax or mailed requests for the RFP will be honored. The solicitation (and any amendments) will be available for downloading on the Federal Business Opportunity website at www.fedbizopps.gov for all interested parties. Note: Any prospective offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. To register in CCR at the website: www.ccr.gov, applicants must have a DUN and Bradstreet number and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) now requires the use of the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in Federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission process. With ORCA, you now have the ability to enter and maintain your representation and certification information, at your convenience, via the Internet at http://orca.bpn.gov. In addition, rather than receiving and reviewing paper submissions, government contracting officials can access ORCA and review your information online as a part of the proposal evaluation process. You will no longer have to submit representations and certifications completed in ORCA with each offer.
